Of course. Because it's classic me to start a blog and then completely abandon it. But we're making progress! Lots of progress, in fact. I've come very far in my twisted grip, and right now I'm working on things like the jade split, double elbow grip flying pirouette, brass monkey variations, apprentice to pike to dvd and a few drops. Here's a video of my success today with the knee hold - a move I've been working on for over a year!
Beyond all that, I'm considering getting one of the new X-Stage Lites so I could practice upstairs and not have to worry about the weather for poling. It would be nice to be able to take it to the park or beach or friends' houses for pole jams, too. Not to mention for photoshoots!
I'm gearing up for a workshop with Jenyne again at the end of the month and another Alloy Images photoshoot with Joe. We had a great new year and 2011 is looking very promising. I hope to being instructor training in March, after I pay off my car in February. Hooray!
